While many people would rather wear a hat than a hoodies, it appears there is an appetite for baseball players to do just that.
As MLB has not confirmed when the game will be played in 2019, it is not clear when the new uniform will be worn.
But one sportswearing trend is already being discussed in Canada: baseball hoodies.
The sportswears trend has been gaining popularity in Canada, with a number of players wearing hoodies to the World Baseball Classic, which began in Montreal in July and is set to end in Toronto in November.
Some players wore hoodies for the game.
The trend is gaining momentum in the United States, where the sportswwear industry is booming.
For example, last year, Adidas introduced hoodies and other baseball apparel, but they are not allowed to be worn in baseball stadiums.
It is not known when MLB will introduce a new uniform.
But there are some players who believe that hoodies are a more appropriate uniform choice for the upcoming World Series, especially with the World Trade Centre looming in Toronto.
“It was the best decision to wear hoodies,” said Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Brett Lawrie, who will be wearing a hoody on Thursday.
“I think a lot of players are going to wear it, and that’s a big plus for us.”
While baseball players have worn hoodies in the past, it has not been seen as a fashion statement.
A number of professional baseball players wore baseball hats before the advent of hoodies because baseball hats were seen as an intimidating look to baseball fans.
For the first time, baseball players will be seen in baseball caps.
But baseball players in Canada have also worn hoods in the game, such as the Toronto Blue Sox’ Manny Machado, who has worn a hood on his head since 2014.
“The baseball hats have been a tradition for a long time, and I think it’s a great addition to the uniform,” Lawrie said.
“We’re not looking to change anything.”
Lawrie is not the only MLB player who will sport a hood in the upcoming games.
Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machano, who wears a hat during batting practice, said he is also looking forward to wearing one.
“If it’s the right time, I think they’re going to be wearing it,” Machado said.
For some, the baseball hat has become a fashion symbol, but not everyone thinks it is a good choice.
“For me, I have always been a baseball hat guy,” said Detroit Tigers outfielder Adam Jones.
“And I’ve been wearing a baseball helmet all my life, so it just makes sense to wear a baseball one.”
For some players, wearing a hat is a way to protect their faces.
But others are not fans of baseball hats.
“There’s no reason to wear baseball hats,” said Yankees infielder Mark Teixeira.
“Somebody is going to have to tell me what that is.”
Some players who have worn a baseball cap to games say they have worn the hat in the winter and not wanted to risk damaging the cap.
“You’ve got to wear your cap in the summer, when the weather is warmer,” said Chicago Cubs catcher Jorge Soler.
“People ask me about it and I say it’s not a problem.
And if you don’t want to wear one, you can put it on, or put it back on, it doesn’t really matter.”
“A baseball cap has always been an icon in the sport.
I think baseball fans are going be very happy with the new baseball cap,” said Oakland Athletics second baseman Brandon Moss.
“My hat is my own.
It’s something I own.”
For now, baseball is sticking to baseball hats for now.
“In the end, I’m not going to say I’m going to throw out a hat,” said New York Mets catcher David Wright.
“But I will tell you I’m definitely not going into this season wearing a cap.”
