COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nike Sports Merchandise and Outlet in Columbus is opening a new store on North Franklin Street and expanding its reach to Columbus.
The store will have a total of 1,500 square feet of space, including an outdoor seating area, a coffee bar and more.
It’s the second store in Ohio and the first in Columbus in about a year.
Nikes first store in North Columbus was at the intersection of Franklin and Ohio streets.
There’s a good selection of sports gear including jerseys, apparel, shoes, and accessories, along with shoes and apparel from Nike’s other retailers.
“We are excited to open the store on Franklin Street in the heart of Columbus,” said Kevin Miller, senior vice president of Nike, in a statement.
Nile Thompson, president of Outlet Columbus, said that the new store will offer a full range of merchandise, including shoes, apparel and more, for sale.
You can also buy a new Nike shoe every month or order new footwear from the store’s extensive shoe collection.
In addition, Outlet is offering a variety of new apparel, including Nike shoes, shirts and accessories.
Nike has been in Columbus since 2011 and now has a presence in nearly every part of the city.
Columbus is a hub for sports apparel in the Midwest.
Since launching in 2003, the store has expanded to sell apparel and accessories to men, women and kids, and it’s now also selling sports gear to families.
