Blue Moon Sportswear is planning to launch its new line in 2019 that features “sturdy” and “safer” footwear.
The brand says its new products will be launched in four key markets: Australia, UK, US and Canada.
“Our products are made from lightweight, breathable, high-impact materials and designed to deliver the comfort, durability and comfort of premium quality,” Blue Moon said in a statement.
“The footwear we’ve been working on is our most sophisticated line of sports footwear yet.
It combines a premium leather sole with a solid, durable upper, designed to provide superior comfort and protection.”
It’s a truly unique offering for Blue Moon, and we are proud to be a part of its history and our future.
“The Blue Moon line has been a hit with retailers in recent years.
In August last year, Blue Moon’s footwear sales surged in the US, as shoppers flocked to its signature “Sturdy” series.
It also recently launched a “Safer” line, and a “Stylish” line that includes “Stable” and ultra-soft materials.
Blue Moon has a long history in the Australian footwear market, having launched its first line of footwear in 2009, and has grown rapidly over the years.
The company has been the target of many lawsuits in the past, including a case brought against it by Australian billionaire Clive Palmer.
The Palmer family has long been a fierce supporter of the Australian sporting industry, and the company’s founder John Giese is a long-time friend of Palmer and his family.
But the company has faced legal action over allegations of racial discrimination.
Last month, the Federal Court of Australia ruled in favour of the Palmer family, saying Blue Moon had discriminated against Indigenous people in the manufacturing of its footwear.
In October last year the Federal Government introduced a raft of laws to ensure a fair and transparent competition in the footwear market.
Blue Mask’s new footwear line is due to be available to order in September 2019.
