Nike has won the battle for the coveted title of the “best-selling” athletic apparel brand in the US.
The company won the coveted #1 spot in the annual Retail Buyer’s Guide (RBI) survey released today.
The company’s sales of Nike’s “OMG” line of athletic apparel are on track to surpass $2 billion in annual revenue by 2020, according to the report.
That includes the sales of $1.8 billion in Nike’s latest “Omg” and $1 billion in the latest “The Motto.”
The report found that Nike is on track “to break into the top three most valuable athletic apparel brands in the United States,” according to DiCamillos. “

The brand was listed as the #1 brand in sales in the survey, and “OMGs” accounted for $2.9 billion in sales.
Nike is the first to win the #2 spot in that survey, which is typically released each January.
The report notes that the #3 spot is held by Adidas.
Adidas’ sales rose 19.7% year-over-year, while Nike’s sales rose 14.2%.
The top three athletic apparel companies are Nike, Adidas, and Nike+Empire.
