Nike has been the dominant force in sports footwear since its founding in 1960.
But now it is entering the next stage of its evolution by creating a brand for men and a brand focused on women.
In its latest effort, the company has launched a new brand, Nike Elite Sportswear.
The new shoe will debut in the United States in September, and Nike says the new design will appeal to men.
It will also feature a “feminine look”, according to the statement.
The Nike Elite Series, as it is known, has traditionally been made for women’s size 10 to 12, but the company said it is looking to create the best shoes for women and girls across the world.
The shoes will feature a 3D printed inner lining and “feminist” branding, according to a statement from Nike.
Nike said the shoe will feature “sportswear staples, like the Nike Air Max, Nike Air X, Nike Zoom and Nike Flyknit.”
The shoe will be available in three colors: white, black and red.
“We wanted to create something that celebrates the values of sportswearing and the female athlete,” Nike Senior Vice President of Global Brand Strategy, Brand Ambassador Kristina Fuchs, said in the statement, according a report by Reuters.
The company will be unveiling the Nike Elite Air, a white shoe, on November 15 at the New York City Polo Grounds.
The shoe is available in black, grey and white.
The Air will be sold at a suggested retail price of $200, while the Nike Flywire will be $300.
The shoe’s name is inspired by Nike’s “flight and adventure” brand, which includes its namesake brand, Air Max.
The launch of the Nike Sportswearing range comes at a time when the shoe business has seen significant growth, with the company reporting a record $18.3 billion in revenue in 2017.
In the first six months of 2018, the brand brought in $1.5 billion in revenues, a 27 percent increase from the same period in 2017, according data from Footwear Brands, an online shoe retailer.
The sneaker company said its new shoe line will be an evolution of the brand, in part because it is focused on the “feministic message of sport.”
“The new Nike Elite sportswears look great on the go and are a great fit for a range of women,” the statement said.
“Nike is a leader in the men’s footwear market and we know we are positioned to succeed in the long term.”
In addition to the shoes, Nike said it will also launch a line of accessories for women, including a pair of socks called the Nike Fluid Fit.
The shoes will be priced at $75.
